					Roberto Trigueiro Fontes welcomes the Governor of Pernambuco in a debate at the AMCHAM/São Paulo

The Governor of Pernambuco, Eduardo Campos, has participated in the American Chamber’s debate in São Paulo, together with Mr. Luiz Delfim, President of Coca-Cola Northeast branch and vice-president of the Regional branch of the AMCHAM/PE. Invited to mediate the debate, Roberto Trigueiro Fontes, who is a current member of the Honorary Council of the AMCHAM/PE, argued with the lecturers about the economic growth of the State of Pernambuco and the Northeast region, whose attainments surpass most regions in Brazil. About 100 entrepreneurs had attended the event in the installations of the AMCHAM in São Paulo.

					III Brazilian Congress of Society of Lawyers

Our Labour law consultant, Antonio J. Peres Picolomini, will participate as a lecturer in the III Brazilian Congress of Society of Lawyers, which will take place in the city of Campinas/SP from 11th to 12th September 2008. The event is promoted by the SINSA - Union of the Societies of Lawyers of the States of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

					Trigueiro Fontes Reopens its office in Natal

Giving continuity to the process of growth of its structure in a national scale, Trigueiro Fontes Advogados reopens its regional unit in Natal, now counting with 9 offices in diverse capitals of the country (São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasilia, Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Salvador, Fortaleza, Recife and now Natal). The lawyer responsible for the new unit is Carlos Rosemberg, who has worked for three years in the unit of Porto Alegre, as well as in Recife and Fortaleza.

					Partners ascend the Firm’s hierarchy

In accordance with the Firm’s hierarchical composition, the partners are divided into four levels: junior, full, master and senior. By the advent of Trigueiro Fontes Advogados’ Executive Committee and Executive Secretariat last meeting, which took placed in Recife during the month of April, the partners Larissa Oliveira Maranhão (Recife), Karyna Saraiva Leão Gaya (Fortaleza) and Ana Carolina Lago Bahiense (Curitiba) had been promoted. Now, Larissa is a master partner of the Firm, whereas Karyna and Ana Carolina are full partners. Congratulations to all of them who due to their devotion and efforts, as well as professional ability, appear amongst the outstanding integrants of the Firm.

					Roberto Trigueiro visits the North American nuclear aircraft carrier

In the quality of representative of the American Chamber of Commerce (AMCHAM/PE), Roberto Trigueiro Fontes visited the aircraft carrier George Washington, which was on the coast of Pernambuco. Many distinguished visitors had been presented during the event, amongst them the Governor of Pernambuco, Eduardo Campos. In one of the photos, we can se the Rear Admiral Philip H. Cullom, commander of the Group of Attack Eight, of which the aircraft carrier takes part. The aircraft carrier’s landing and take-off area has 330 meters, being possible to shelter up to 75 aircraft. The take-off is made by the catapult system and the speed of the airplane reaches 200km/h in up to two seconds, experience witnessed by all visitors.

					Akzo Nobel's Legal Director in Recife

Dr. Christian Cardoso, Legal Director of the Akzo Nobel in Brazil, gives a lecture on environment topic by means of the invitation of the American Chamber of Commerce in Recife/PE. During its journey in the city, he enjoyed to congregate himself with some partners of the Office.

				A long trip starts with an only step. TF 15 years !

In January, 5th of 1993, Trigueiro Fontes Advogados was established in Natal/RN. Since then 15 years have been passed and the units were opened in Recife (1995), Salvador (1997), Fortaleza (1999), Curitiba (2001), Brasilia (2002), Porto Alegre (2005), São Paulo (2006) and Rio de Janeiro (2007). They are 150 members, from that a third is formed by lawyers, which act in diverse areas of law. We hope to celebrate more 15, 20, 30 years.
