Once again, Trigueiro Fontes Advogados (Lawyers) was listed into the select group of Law Firms named by the magazine "Análise Advocacia 500" as "The Most Admired in Law-Practice" -2011 edition. Through research performed with major companies' legal departments, the magazine ranked the top Law Firms in the Brazilian market.
Trigueiro Fontes figured amongst "themost admired" in the areas of infrastructure and regulatory,
civil,consumer, labor, criminal, besides been referred as a benchmark in chemistry and retailer sectors. It is also worth mentioning that the Firm now ranks 28th as Top Major Law Firms in the country and one of the fastest growing last year.

Daniela Rondinelli Capani, partner responsible for coordinating the SPO-04 unit, has been elected at the Partners Ordinary Meeting to integrate the Firm's Executive Committee in 2012. Thereby, the EC is composed by the following partners: Daniela Braga Guimarães (Recife), Daniela Rondinelli Capani (São Paulo) and Ana Paula Sá Borges (Rio de Janeiro) who will now chair the Committee.

November 18th through 20th - The Firm's Partners met in Campos do Jordão – SP, where after the 2011 year review and a drafting of the Business Plan for 2012 was outlined, decisions were made and the new year's budget was approved.

2011 TF Annual Seminar Event ended with lectures by Silmara Bernardo (on "Legal Management and Provisioning"), Fábio de Possídio (on "Arbitration and Arbitration Clause") and Eduardo Fazolli (on "Administrators Liability").

"Old World x New World!" This was the speech of Arthur Piccolomini de Azevedo, acclaimed Sommelier, wine consultant for several companies.

Mauricio Ricardo Tinello, from Libbs Pharmaceuticals, spoke on "Preventing and Fighting Frauds in Businesses".

"World Cup and Olympic Games!" This was the panel of Henrique Silva de Oliveira, Rodrigo da Fonseca Chauvet and Luiz Henrique Brito Prescendo.

Arthur Vasconcellos, from CT Partners, gave us his lecture leading to a reflection: "Brazil: Will We Have People to Manage Success?".

Daniela Moreira Sampaio Ribeiro, TF Partner in Brasilia, talked about "The New Trends on Outsourcing in Brazil".

The 2011 TF Event had over 100 guests, including customers, associates and friends.

Roberto Trigueiro Fontes had the opening speech for the 2011 Trigueiro Fontes Annual Seminar Event!

18 years after its foundation in a small downtown office in the city of Natal, with only 2 lawyers, Trigueiro Fontes Advogados has crossed the boundary of 100 lawyers. Presently the office contains 126 professionals, including 20 partners, 3 legal consulters and 103 attorneys, all distributed amongst 11 brazilian capitals. If we consider the interns and the administrative group, the number of employees comes near to 300 members.

Recife´s office has just changed its address. From now on, its new address is located on the 13th floor of the "Empresarial Jopin", at 742 Antônio de Góes, Avenue, in the neighborhood of Pina. The new building is an ultra-modern skyscraper and it is part of a new prosperous-urban-developed region of Recife, where the largest mall of the Northeastern Region has been built. In addition, several other businesses have been also raised around, which in turn will increase the value of Trigueiro Fontes LLP in Recife.

Arriving from a trip to Europe in order to assist some clients, Eduardo Correa Fazoli has given lessons on April 13th about Mergers, Acquisitions, Corporate Reorganizations and Due Diligence at the legal extension and specialization programs "GV Law", of Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), in São Paulo.

Karyna Saraiva Leão Gaya – KSL, partner of Trigueiro Fontes Law Firm, in charge of compliance programs together with the other partners in the advisory team, attended the internationally renowned Summit on Anti-Corruption to Latin America, which took place in São Paulo. Compliance, ethics, FCPA and anticorruption were some of the topics discussed. Senior corporate ethics and compliance executives, attorneys, accountants, government officials and non-government institutes also attended the event.

Trigueiro Fonte's Regional Unit of Fortaleza received from the Regional Labor Superintendent of Ceará, Dr. Francisco Assis Papito de Oliveira, a certificate given to companies that promote integration of young apprentices and/or people with special needs in their staff. The event occurred in Fortaleza's Trade Social Service (SESC) headquarters in 27.1.2011.

The first three places in the essay competition "Best Article of 2010", promoted by Trigueiro Fontes , had lawyers from Recife as winners, with the theme "O regime do recurso de agravo sob a ótica do anteprojeto do novo CPC", the first place has given to the lawyer Ana Luiza Duarte Pires de Castro (ALD), winner with 9.10 score. The second place, with 8.85 score, has taken by the law intern, Renata Veras Fontes (RVF), with "Logística Reversa", and with 8.86 score, the lawyer Jussara de Barros Amorim Araújo (JUS), with "Terceirização trabalhista no âmbito privado" has rewarded with the third place. The articles have carefully chosen, through one select group of judges composed by 10 (ten) members from Trigueiro Fontes, including partners and non-partners, having as criteria, i.d. analyze of Portuguese (clearness and objectivity, plus grammar and logical thinking) and current happenings; Moreover, importance between theme and content, adding adequacy over clients matters.

It was in the afternoon of January 5, 1993 that Trigueiro Fontes LLP started up their activities. At the same date years ago, Roberto has opened the head office in Natal that nowadays, contains 250 workers, including 90 lawyers and has branches located into 11 Brazilian capitals (i.d. Natal, Recife, Salvador, Fortaleza, Curitiba, Brasília, Porto Alegre, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Belo Horizonte and Manaus).
